Real Subjects. Real Projects. Real Standards.
Our students don't choose between rigorous academics and real-world learning — every project is built on both. Here's how it actually works, without the compliance paperwork.
One Simple Rhythm, Twice a Day
Ask
A real question, before any teaching starts.
Learn
Direct, focused instruction from the teacher.
Apply
Used right away on their own project.
More Worlds Than One Classroom
Subjects aren't separate boxes — every project draws on several at once, across worlds students already recognize.
Media & Communication
Writing, speaking, and creating for real audiences.
Government & Society
Fairness, ethics, and how communities and institutions work.
Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Turning ideas into real proposals and solutions.
Nature & Life Sciences
Observation, evidence, and experimentation in the living world.
Industry & Technology
Real tools, systems, and design processes.
Space Exploration
Physics, astronomy, and engineering through real space-science problems.
Arts & Design
Creative expression built on real technique and craft.
Health & Wellbeing
The body, movement, and mind through real habits, not just theory.
Global Cultures & Languages
History, geography, and language through real communities and stories.
Every Subject Still Counts, on Its Own.
English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Technology, and PDHPE are each explicitly taught, separately assessed, and separately graded — real-world projects are the setting for learning, not a replacement for the curriculum itself.
- Every project ends in a real, graded assessment task — not a participation sticker
- Work is marked against the same A–E standard used across Australian curriculum-aligned schools
- Students build portfolios of real evidence — writing, designs, presentations — that they and their families can see
- Every subject gets dedicated teaching time each week, tracked and reported like any mainstream school
Australian Curriculum +IB PYP, MYP & DP
At Vantage by Unity, the Australian Curriculum sets what gets taught — the explicit subject content and A–E grading families already trust. Alongside it, we are pursuing IB World School candidacy across the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes — the internationally recognized “how” behind our inquiry-first rhythm and a graduating credential recognized by universities worldwide.
Primary Years Programme
Kindergarten – Year 6
The inquiry-driven foundation for our youngest learners — asking a real question before any teaching starts, exactly like our daily Ask, Learn, Apply rhythm.
Middle Years Programme
Year 7 – Year 10
Where subjects connect across real-world contexts, as students begin building the specialized knowledge in a field of their choosing.
Diploma Programme
Year 11 – Year 12
An internationally recognized graduating credential built on deep, self-directed inquiry, opening doors to universities worldwide.
Vantage by Unity is currently in the candidacy process toward IB World School authorization for PYP, MYP, and DP. “IB World School” is a status conferred only once the International Baccalaureate Organization completes formal authorization — we’ll share our authorization milestones here as they’re confirmed.
Built to the Same Bar as Australia's Top Schools
Our academic model is built to meet Australian curriculum standards: the same standards that govern mainstream schools across Australia. Our curriculum, teaching hours and grading are held to the standard families already trust, while our classrooms look nothing like a typical school day. The track record behind the model, including the programmes it grew out of and the numbers they produced, is set out on the Project You page.
Rigorously mapped to official curriculum outcomes, project by project
Reported the same way families are already used to reading — clear grades, real evidence
